Great dinner

I lived in the Czech Republic for 2 years and enjoyed the food everyday. This food is as authentic as it gets!! The cook starts cooking everyday at 7 am and cooks all day. All of the food is amazing!!! The service was wonderful Pavlina, and the cook were so kind to speak czech with me and make it an amazing experience. Your entre comes with soup and dessert and you get a ton of food. The svickova is a very traditional czech food and it is super good! Didn't have the cranberries and orange slice on it but the dumplings were so good and the gravy and meat were perfect!! My wife got the segedinsky goulash and it was spectacular as well. If you want sute tic czech food this is the place to go! And super cheap as well!! Thank you czech plaza!!! Dekujeme!!! Chutnalo to nam moc dobre!!!

I just liked their dishes. I always get awesome customer service here. The place is neat and the workers are always friendly. Will come back again.

Old school good food. I had the meatloaf and my husband had paprika chicken. Both were very good and huge portions. Authentic Czech .

This is me and my husband's favorite place to eat. The food is always* fresh, hot, and delicious...and dont get me started on there apple strudel. It's to die for! It comes out hot and flaky and its topped with whipped cream.

If you like authentic Czech food, it doesn't get any better. So good, new owners have the food tasting like it did over 30 years ago. Delicious.

Friendly family run restaurant! The food was pretty good but I've had better in Chicago. Liver dumpling soup and goulash were both very good. Their entree is pretty big that comes with 2 sides, soup, and dessert. Plan on sharing or being a container to take leftover home.

The duck was fresh cooked perfectly bone seperating test was perfect.i recremend this place everything was perfect with tje new owner ..friendly staff .this place now rivals Old Ptague

Authentic and obviously homemade dishes of comfort food. Everything and I mean everything is made in house, soups to dinner rolls to sauces, all fantastic. Bread and potato dumplings like grandma used to make!

I was so happy to discover that they had opened again under new management. The food was excellent. I ordered the koprova with bread dumplings and sauerkraut. The dinner and sides were all delicious. The prices are super reasonable considering the amount of food you get.

I cannot exactly say what I had or exactly what it was called because I did not take a picture of the menu. However, it was delicious. It was 3 large pork medallions in a red cream sauce served with bread dumplings (which I highly recommend) ...the sauce has a hint of vinegar, and sour cream. It was outstanding. If you want to try something different and experience the old world way. Go here and experience something old that will be new to you. The waitress was very helpful in guiding me to order Czech Food that an American would like.

We enjoy hanging out. Yesterday we went to this superb restaurant which friends recommended to us. We had a lovely evening there with high-qulity meal and an efficient stuff and a distinguished cook. We added this restaurant in our list and we shall surely return soon. We warmly recommend.

Food is excellent and old world, prepared like grandma's. Portions are generous and delivered hot. Happy they reopened, especially now that Riverside restaurant closed. And no, it is not run by Chineese.

i am polish, and this was awful. gave instant diahreah. the dog didn’t even like it. he was running from the food.. and usually he’s waiting for food to drop. Kitchen Nightmares should go here. This was the worst polish food in history. perogi’s were dry as the desert. that fruit dumpling, BREAD. and one whole apricot not even cut was in it.. potato pancakes weren’t even cooked inside..KITCHEN NIGHTMARES GORDON RAMSY THIS IS YOUR NEXT STOP.

Great place for a hearty, authentic Czech meal. Generous portions and good variety. Servers were willing to explain menu items, too. Not fancy at all, but the food is good, and it's a unique experience.

Just out of this world good. Try the beef with horseradish sauce. Can't stop eating it. And the dill soup. We always take out of town visitors here.
